The program organized by ASEMA and the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) aimed to raise public awareness of the need for citizens to hold their leaders accountable.

The national program is sponsored by the European Union.

Mr. Bortey said that Odupong High School is writing for the first time and that all preparations are being made to ensure the success of the exam.

He added that the management had taken steps to ensure that the students achieved satisfactory results.

The City Manager said for the first time that students were preparing for three mock exams to eliminate their fears.

Mr Bortey expressed his gratitude to ASEMA for its continued support to the education sector in the municipality.

Ms. Mary N. Ankrah, NCCE City Manager, said the program was intended to raise awareness across the country of the problems that were affecting citizens, particularly in the areas of health and safety. education, health, roads and sanitation.

Participants asked religious organizations to help educate the public about the issues and benefits of sanitation.
