President Ofosu Ampofo has also asked the Electoral Commission to increase the number of machines used for offline registration, as the queues at the registration centers are still long.

He argued that even though the online system allows the applicant's data to be entered into the EC database during the registration and that the data entered with the offline system should be exported to the database at a later date, it will be prudent to increase the number of machines. reduce the stress and frustration created by EC.

In the various registration centers, Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo encouraged voters, party agents and EC officials for the first time to remain resolute and to follow the process peacefully.
