The human rights organizations of the coastal region of Kenya have sounded the alarm when faced with the growing number of child abuse cases.
They condemned the police and the judiciary for failing to resolve the crimes in time, depriving the victims of justice.
According to the organization Haki Yetu, which takes care of children's rights in the region, human rights defenders have found a very large number of cases of child abuse. Kenyan courts have struggled to cope with such an increase in the number of cases involving children.
