Indian company Hexaware Technologies acquires Mobiquity in the US for $ 182 million

BENGALURU (Reuters) – Indian IT services firm Hexaware Technologies Ltd. announced Friday that it has acquired Mobiquity Inc., a privately held company, for $ 182 million to expand its automation and cloud services offerings.

The agreement will enable Hexaware, based in Mumbai, to gain ground in its banking and pharmaceutical sectors, thanks to Mobiquity's digital products.

Hexaware will pay $ 131 million to Mobiquity and deferred consideration of $ 51 million will be paid based on price supplements, the company said here

Mobiquity, a US-based company, designs products for partners such as Amazon's AWS and Netherlands-based software company Bankbase.
