Umpakan Chodri, a thirty – year – old Indian businessman, abducted by strangers in Kumasi, in the Ashanti region, was rescued on Thursday night.

The hooligans later called a Tamil Kumar, a relative of the victim, to demand a ransom of $ 500,000 for release.
