Legacies is going to have a pretty exciting gender crossover in season two.
the Vampire Diary and The originals spin-off threw the old Buffy against the vampires and angel star Alexis Denisof for a mystical role, according to TVLine.
While he was used to fending off all sorts of supernatural threats such as observer Wesley Wyndam-Pryce in the Buffyverse, he joined Legacies as "urban British sorcerer" Professor Vardemus.

Denisof recently played in The icy adventures of Sabrina as an unpretentious partner of Madam Satan, possessed of the demon – so hopefully he gets out better this time!
He will make his first appearance as Professor Vardemus in Legacies in episode two this fall.
Legacies Star Julie Plec spent the summer giving intriguing clues as to what the second season will bring, including the introduction of an "old, old world vampire" played by descendantsThomas Doherty.
She also hinted to Comic-Con International this month that it's only a matter of time before The vampire newspaper character Kai Parker presents himself in Legacies.

Writer Brett Matthews added, "It's inevitable, Chris Wood, because we know where you live."
Legacies will be back on October 10 on the CW in the USA.
