Chris Hughes and Jesy Nelson recently shared a glimpse of their romantic getaway in Ireland.

The 26-year-old Love Island man and the 27-year-old Little Mix superstar became official at the start of the year – and if they feel like they're getting away from their trip, they seem to be getting better by better.

Taking advantage of good times, the two unexpected men began to hike in the mountains and to soak up the landscape of Ireland before returning home for a pleasant night.

Sharing every detail of their time with their combined 7.1 m Instagram followers, fans of the adored couple felt like they were joining them as they watched them flirt and frollick.

Chris had a glimpse of their trip to Wicklow on Monday, while he was posting a photo with his girlfriend singer, Woman Like Me, telling fans that they were "somewhere in the Wicklow Mountains" .

Enjoying a scenic ascent in Ireland's largest mountainous region, the two men seemed delighted to escape their hectic showbiz lives by rebaduring themselves and laughing for a selfie by a waterfall.

Jesy wore an oversized black hoodie and seemed comfortable around Chris while she was going out without a makeup strand, while the Love Island star was opting for a blatant yellow Ralph Lauren jacket to stand warm.

After a tiring hike, the two men shared images of the warmth of Jesy's home and regularly informed the fans of their cold night.

Jesy immediately went home and put on her pajamas – a pair of comfortable orange pants with the Reese pieces logo on them.

However, it did not take long for Chris to literally sweep it away … and of course capture everything for the gram.

Taking her by the legs and hanging her on his shoulders, Chris burst out laughing as Jesy shouted, "Bubba, it's a concrete floor, Bubby, I'm scared."

Laughing, she continued: "There is a shoe rack behind me, you will break my head".

However, Chris soon caught Jesy, as he was preparing to prepare a healthy chicken stir fry for dinner.

The couple then retired to the couch, where they huddled with Jesy's dog, Reggie.

While they were watching The Widow from ITV and arguing with Take That, the couple was a little disgusted, while Jesy turned to Chris and said, "You are my prince".

"You are my princess," he replied, before being distracted by the startling tragedy.

Playful Chris then decided to curl Jesy's hair, while she shared the hilarious results of her page.

Looking a little worried while he was starting to style, Jesy captured Chris' concentration as he got to work.

"Bubba … you do not really touch my hair," she said. "Are you tying my hair?"

The fun then lasted a bit longer, when Chris put all of Jesy's hair in small braids and introduced them all to his fans.

The two men are not ashamed of their approach to this romantic relationship – they both experienced remarkable ruptures in the past.

Jesy was engaged to Jake Roche – the son of Shane Ritchie and Coleen Nolan – but romance fizzled in November 2016, two years after he had asked the question.

She then had the chance to experience a series of other failed romances, including a one-year adventure with rapper Harry James and a brief story with TOWIE star Chris Clark.

Meanwhile, Chris had a "toxic" adventure with Olivia Attwood, another Love Island star, who broke up this week with her own boyfriend, Bradley Dack.

She recently warned Jesy that Chris might be going out with her to thank her for his fame.

The beautiful blonde said that she was "not surprised" that Chris was chasing Jesy, adding, "Chris loves to be famous, so in this regard, I would say that they are well matched."
