As tension rises between Iran, the United States and its allies, the BBC rarely has access to Iran.
The Iranians remain furious to learn that President Donald Trump has withdrawn from the nuclear deal last year and imposed crushing sanctions on the country.
Our correspondent, Martin Patience, as well as cameraman Nik Millard and producer Cara Swift, traveled to Tehran and the holy city of Qom to talk to the Iranians about the growing crisis.
In the countries, access to the recordings was controlled – as for all foreign media, the team was accompanied at all times by a government representative.
