Pia Whitesell quickly became a household name when she made her screen debut as cop Katarina Chapman on the Home and Away soap opera in February 2015, before stepping down in 2017.
Fast forward six years, and the actress is now adding the beauty mogul to her credentials with her Macabalm skincare line, which launched in November of last year.
The 37-year-old, who married American multimillionaire agent Patrick Whitesell, 56, this year, told the Herald Sun how she managed to turn that dream into reality.

Pia is the founder of Macabalm, a versatile balm made from organic macadamia and Kakadu plum, priced at $ 19.95 to $ 45.95 online.
It took the brand four years to see the light of day, with the Chilean-born star revealing how her background on set and in the makeup chair gave it a business edge.
“You have access to what works… and when you have the product, you have access to give it to colleagues, to have the visibility, to have the ‘reach’ that other people might not have, just by having did what I did, ”she explained.

Pia said she had no plans to return to acting and was focusing on Macabalm.
‘The really didn’t have much time for anything else in terms of career and I really enjoyed stepping back from the camera, being there that way and being behind the scenes of that brand, ”she said.
Pia, who is now based in Los Angeles, also sort of has a guinea pig in her husband Patrick, who uses the product.

In the photo taken in Malibu, Calif., Pia and Patrick held glasses of sparkling wine and shared a celebratory toast.

In April 2019, the Daily Telegraph reported that Pia and Tyson had ended their 18-month engagement ‘amicably’ after Tyson had left their Sydney home.

The couple made their red carpet debut at last year’s Oscars in Los Angeles in February.
Pia and Patrick’s romance follows the breakdown of Patrick’s marriage to Lauren Sanchez, who would now be engaged to Amazon boss Jeff Bezos.

Pia is also the proud mother of her sons Isaiah, 18, and Lennox, 14, whom she shares with former partners.
