Inter could beat Manchester City at the signing of midfielder Sporting Bruno Fernandes, according to reports reported in Portugal.
Fernandes seemed certain to join the Premier League champions until recently, but City thought and discussions slowed down.
O Jogo suggested today that Inter take advantage of stalemate to reach an agreement with Sporting and bring back the 24-year-old player to Italy, where he has already played for Novara, Udinese and Sampdoria .
Joao Mario could be included in the contract as Sporting wishes to bring him back to the club after selling to Inter in 2016.
Fernandes scored 32 goals and provided 18 badists for Sporting in the 2018-1920 season, including three goals and two badists in the UEFA Europa League.
He has also made 11 appearances for the Portuguese national team since his senior team debut in November 2017, scoring once in a 1-1 draw against the United States.
