Juventus joined the race to engage Romelu Lukaku, the Manchester United striker, and Maurizio Sarri's team would be ready to offer Paulo Dybala as part of the deal, according to Sky in Italy.

The channel claims that Juventus has made a firm offer in order to sign Lukaku, while she is looking to beat her national rival, Inter Milan, at the signing of the Belgian striker.

The suggestion that highly rated Argentinian striker Dybala could be available as part of an agreement for Lukaku would change the dynamics of a possible transfer, with Inter continuing to block the striker's valuation by United at 80. £ million.

The offer of Inter for Lukaku, in the amount of £ 54 million, was rejected by United leaders last week. The Italian club would be reluctant to take stock of United despite strong financial support from their Chinese owners.

"Lukaku is United's player and that's the reality," said Inter president Antonio Conte earlier this month.

"You know very well that I love this player, but also when I was coach of Chelsea and I was trying to take him to Chelsea. Lukaku is a player from United, that's the reality.

"I think right now, if you're talking about a player from another club, it's worth not talking about Lukaku because we have a great respect for United.

"As I have already said, I love this player and consider him an important player for us but there is at the same time a transfer market.

"We know very well what our current situation is and we'll see what happens but for now, Lukaku is a United player."

The introduction of Dybala to the discussion about Lukaku's future could change the dynamics, United still giving no indication as to whether it's a player who will like it.

Tottenham thought he was in pole position to win a daring striker, Dybala, who had expressed a desire to play under compatriot Mauricio Pochettino in North London, but a plot twist could allow the player to end up at Old Trafford .

Dybala has not yet announced that he would be ready to join United in a season when they will play football in the Europa League, but the 25-year-old now seems to be caught in an opposing showdown between two of the The big hitters of the Premier League.

Tottenham was preparing to break his transfer record as talks were under way for a £ 70m transfer for Dybala, but United's inflated salaries could tip an agreement in their favor.
