Inter Milan would have contacted Chelsea about the possibility of signing Victor Moses this summer.
According to Italian media quoted by Sport Witness, the Italian giants still consider Moses their "first choice" and have begun discussions with the Blues on a possible agreement.
The 28-year-old joined Turkish club Fenerbahce on loan in January, but Inter's continued interest in the player projected his future to Chelsea in the air.
The former Blues boss, Antonio Conte, is expected to take up his duties at Inter Milan this summer and would like to be able to meet with the Nigerian International.
A commission of 12 million euros could be enough to convince Chelsea to sell Moses, who moved to Stamford Bridge in 2012 after leaving Wigan Athletic.
Moses had a great season under Conte in his first season as Chelsea, and it looks like the pair may be heading to San Siro this summer.
