The first victim, 21-year-old Priscilla Blessing Bentum, was reportedly kidnapped in Kansaworodo on 17 August 2018; while the second victim, 18-year-old Ruth Love Quayson, was also reportedly kidnapped at the junction of Butumegyabu, better known as BU Junction in Takoradi on 4 December 2018, with the third, Priscilla Mantebea Koranchie, 15 years old.
