Internet users talk about impact of social media on young marriages, they say they have destroyed a lot Ghana news

Many young couples around the world post their marriages on social media and go so far as to post on the internet what should not be for public consumption. Many marriages have fallen apart because of this.

YEN.com.gh took to Facebook to ask people how they think social media is impacting young marriages these days and various opinions have poured in.

A young woman identified as Joy Isi believes that social media makes it easier to communicate between husband and wife, especially when they are not in the same city.

She noted, however, that despite the positive side of the platform, it has taken its toll on weddings these days.

Another Facebook user named Okorie O Shandy said social media helped her in her marriage.

In other YEN.com.gh The news reported, Ekpe Akpove, a 34-year-old Nigerian who married two women on the same day, said he was happy he made the bold decision to marry the women.

The young man, from Igbide in the Isoko Sud local government area in Delta state, said he met his first wife in 2008 and the second in 2010.

The wedding took place at Late Ekpe Hitler’s Compound, Opp Ugala Filling Station, Lagos-Igbide.
