Mr. Gregory Afoko's family is disappointed, disheartened and outraged by the last minute filing by the Attorney General of a Nolle Prosequai in the case involving their son and their brother.

The family is of the opinion that the trial of our son was due to be completed the following month, after having served unjustifiably for nearly four (4) years of detention, after Gregory maintained his innocence as soon as first day.
We were very optimistic, after watching the trial closely, that Gregory would be acquitted and released to enjoy his freedom unless strings were fired at the last minute to prevent our son's trial.
Our worst fears were confirmed yesterday when we learned that the Attorney General's Office had filed Nolle Prosequai in a case ending the case and in the hope of starting all over again as a result of the case. alleged arrest of a suspect, Asabke Alangde.
The family wants to know if the Gregory lawsuit could not have reached its logical conclusion while that of another suspect is being started?
