Such a gesture could
foster trust, unity and cultivate a healthy relationship between stakeholders
towards the 2020 elections and beyond.

NACCC made this suggestion when Ms. Jean Mensa, Chair of the Election Committee
Commission, led a team of EC Commissioners to pay a courtesy call on the Commission

International, congratulated the EC for its efficiency and good work since its

they would not be perceived as favoring other parties.
On the Ayawaso West
By-elections, he advised the EC to strengthen its commitment with the
security and develop plans to effectively ensure the proper functioning of
elections.
Ms. Mensa, gave the
the badurance that the Commission would give equal conditions to all political actors.
political parties to ensure credible, transparent, free and fair elections.
As part of the efforts
involve all stakeholders in the electoral process, she said.
undertook a consultation to remove the veil of secrecy that had been
shredded the activities of the Commission.
Mrs Mensa congratulated
its predecessors for the construction of a well-tightened electoral system, which bore
with all the political actors from the registration process to the
declaration of results.
