Walmart is on prime day deals and it's a way closer competition than you thought.

Amazon may have its own shopping vacation, but that does not mean that it is guaranteed to have all the best deals on the internet. Walmart offers unprecedented discounts on the big items that customers expect to buy during Prime Day this year, such as TVs, kitchen appliances and computers.

Walmart simply calls it "The Big Save" (a little less blatant than Target and eBay), but its biggest threat to Prime Day? Next day shipping on millions of items on orders over $ 35 and no expensive membership is required. If you are not a Premium Member, you can take advantage of these offers without having to pay for a membership.

Walmart's prices are competitive with Amazon on many non-surprising items such as iPads, but most offerings are completely different from Amazon's big purchases – or are exclusive to Walmart. (Like the Instant Vortex Plus air fryer, which, at the time of writing these lines, can not be obtained anywhere else.) You can also retrieve the 23andMe Pedestal Kit for sale at Walmart, which is sold on Amazon.

If you prefer Google Assistant to Alexa, Walmart sales on Google Home devices will bring a breath of fresh air thanks to the Echo overload of today.
