A new application for the iPhone promises to help fight jet lag caused by jet lag caused by zombies on a daily basis.

Jet Lag Fighter, $ 1.99 on iTunes for the iPhone and the iPod Touch, offers you a panoply of tools to shorten the next hangover of your flight. (We have promotional codes to give, check out our Twitter account for more details).

The application offers two main strategies to combat jet lag: either a sleep adjustment (respecting the schedule for the new time zone before your departure), or a light therapy (indicating the optimal hours to take advantage of the sun to reduce latency).

During the flight, the app also calculates the ideal lengths and lengths of the nap; if there is no light available when you need it or if you are having a sleep session, the application adjusts your recovery program accordingly.

Jet Lag Fighter is not the first application to claim to be able to relieve the discomfort of air travelers, but it seems to be the most sophisticated crop currently available.

The Mental Workout developers join Virgin Air – for the second time, the first offer is Fear of Flying – and the advice of Dr. Chris Idzikowski, director of the Edinburgh Sleep Center.

Mickey Beyer-Clausen, CEO of Mental Workout, originally from Copenhagen and based in New York but also living in Singapore, tested the application in beta mode during his recent trips across the pond.

"I had jet lag problems all my life, but when I was younger, staying productive was no longer a problem," said Beyer-Clausen, now a senior. 35 years old, at Cult of Mac. "By using the application, the recovery time has gone from about five days to two, which is significantly easier to handle."
