The inhabitants of the Republic of Ireland have also been warned against the consumption of certain types of bottled water.
Last week, the Irish Food Safety Authority (FSAI) recalled the Spar and Londis chain water bottles due to fear of arsenic.
The FSAI said Saturday that the presence of arsenic had been detected above the legal limit in several pressurized and sparkling mineral waters.
The recall is part of an ongoing investigation into Celtic Pure.
Products covered by the FSAI and Health Service Executive (HSE) survey include:
- Aldi / Comeragh (still and sparkling)
- Applegreen (again)
- Broderick (again)
- Dunnes Stores (quiet, sparkling and flavored)
- Itica (again)
- Lidl (again)
- Londis (again)
- Mbad (again)
- Macari (again)
- Airplane (again)
- San Marino (again)
- Spar (again)
Retailers were asked to remove the affected lots from the sale and post a recall notice at the point of sale in-store.
The FSAI advises consumers not to drink the quantities of water concerned and those who have felt uncomfortable contacting their GP.
But he described the recall as "a precautionary measure".
"People should not be worried or worried because the detected levels, although above the legal limit, are not considered to pose any adverse health effects in the short term and the risk of effects on health. long-term health is unlikely. "
