Iron Man's dead, say fans of Avengers, heartbroken, after the trailer for Spider-Man Far From Home. View details | Hollywood

If fans of Avengers: Endgame let the audience worry about the fate of Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man, the trailer for Spider-Man's Far From Home seems to have closed. If the trailer of Avengers: Infinity War suite had Tony Stark adrift in space and oxygen was going to run out soon, the trailer of Spider-Man boasted.

Fans wonder if Spider-Man: Far From Home is before the events of Infinity War or after those of Endgame, when all Avengers decimated – including Spider-Man Tom Holland and Nick Fury Samuel L Jackson – will return to the land of life. Although we are looking at Uncle Ben's old luggage and Peter's pbadport, there is nothing to indicate.

However, fans seem to be unanimous in saying that the movie is happening after Avengers: Endgame and Toy Stark is already dead. For starters, there is no Downey Jr in the trailer, although he is Peter's mentor. In addition, we see Jon's "Happy Hogan" telling Peter that he's "all alone". Nick Fury also asks Spidey if he "will intervene or not", which implies the need for a leader.

Moreover, since Stark was Peter's favorite man, the fact that Fury visits Peter is significant. The check that Peter gets is also signed by Pepper Potts and not by Stark. Although the mood of the trailer is optimistic, we have a moment when Peter looks sadly at the costume offered by Stark.

Many are certain that Iron Man will sink into oblivion in Avengers: Endgame, but some believe that Stark could retire instead of dying. However, given that the contract between Downey Jr and Marvel ends after Avengers: Endgame, it seems to be a curtain for him in the world of Marvel cinema wonder.

The Spider-Man Homecoming sequel, Far From Home, will be released on July 5, which will kick off Phase Four of Marvel Studios, after Avengers: The Endgame Sequel puts an end to the phase three. Although no other Phase Four film has been announced yet, Far From Home will set an unknown future for the MCU. According to Kevin Feige, the boss of Marvel, the studio will unveil its cards after Avengers: Endgame says goodbye to many stars and offers fans a fair solution to the decimation of Thanos.

I'm looking for any evidence that Tony is alive and ignores all the evidence showing that he's dead #SpiderManFarFromHome pic.twitter.com/luuZ1KSVMO

I will simply ignore the fact that:

– Pepper Potts signed the Stark Relief Foundation check
– Peter looked at the suit Tony gave him with sadness in his eyes
– Happy said "You are all alone"
