The ladies of MTV Teen Mom 2 We have certainly had a lot of crazy moments and dramas over the years, but if viewers do not seem to have enough, many wondered if the series was real or fictional. There have been allegations in the past that stories are embellished and that producers stage scenes, then tell mothers what they have to say and do.
So, what we see in the series is it really accurate? Well, it depends on which TM2 star you ask. Here's what Jenelle, Leah, Kailyn, Chelsea and even one of the male stars had to say about the show being written or not.
Leah Messer
Many women expressed dissatisfaction with the way MTV put their scenes together and said the series was wrong for that very reason.
In April 2016, Leah Messer was so unhappy with the way her story was told that she went to Twitter for what she calls herself the "fake" series.
"I'm 99.9% sure these feelings were reciprocal," she tweeted about a conversation she had with her ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert. "I could go into details, but I will not do it. Oh, as I like this fake TV show #% #SoOverIt. "
Kailyn Lowry
Kailyn accused MTV of changing the sequence of his scenes, claiming that his scenario was very different from what was really happening.
After an episode aired on July 31, 2017, Kail tore up the network after writing poorly on Twitter: "They did it. [that] many times on tonight's episodes. And provoked the scene with Isaac crying at dinner !!! And I lost my head !!!
Chelsea Houska
Chelsea Houska agrees with Kailyn about the bad editing and called MTV out so when something bothered her in one of her scenes.
"Just a little something that pissed me off about the show tonight. There is a part where I say, "I feel that it takes away from Cole's experience", "she wrote.
Chelsea also complained about how a conversation that took place at one point was "taken out of context" and added to another scene "for certain reasons."
Jenelle Evans
Surprisingly TM2 Jenelle Evans, star of the most dramatic series, denied that the series was staged or scripted in any way.
In September 2018, the mother of three children answered questions from fans about the authenticity of the series and the intrigues, answering the following question: "Is Teen Mom 2 staged? , "When shooting for a teen mom [sic] to be told what to do by the producers or anything that really happens? "
To that, she responded by explaining, "No, they just ask us to talk about the recent events that have occurred. [that] they missed.
Javi Marroquin
Like Jenelle, Javi Marroquin, Kailyn's ex-husband, also said the series was real despite the badertions of her ex and a few other ladies.
"This is our story. I do not know how difficult editing is when nobody forces us to say what we do, "he said. In touch. "We control our story, so I never understand that. Yes, they can delete some things, but we should be aware of what we say, knowing that they can delete some things. "
