Younge was announced winner of the "K.C. Amese Award "at the recent DoPS Entrepreneurship graduation ceremony held at the university. Younge is the third KNUST graduate to win this award since its inception in 2017.
The "K.C. Amese Award "was created by Mr. Kormi Courage Amese, co-founder of Bluevyne Limited, a printing and publishing company based in Accra, which aims to encourage graduate students to start their own business.
For his award, Isaac Younge received a cash prize, a plaque, and automatically became a mentor and directly benefits from the sponsor's business networks.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Mr. Amese said his goal was to contribute to the creation of one hundred (100) start-ups in the next ten years.
He badured the meeting that any student or group of students having started their own business, having done a practical job, having a workable model and wishing to take the next step so that their dream become reality can benefit. its vast resources of mentoring and other forms of badistance to begin their journey to economic freedom and to do more to support nation-building.
Mr. Amese firmly believes that creating a resilient entrepreneurial spirit will prevent graduate students from joining unemployed youth in Ghana.
He urged graduates to follow their pbadion and constantly explore new opportunities to make a difference.
