It seems that there will be no qualifying matches Money in the Bank this year

WWE Money in the bank pay-per-view is scheduled for Sunday, May 19, 2019 and will come from the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. The big draw of this show is constituted by the matches that bear his name: the matches in the Money in the Bank ranking of men and women.

Given that the briefcase could be a ticket allowing an intermediate card talent to claim a title, it is always interesting to see who will be in the running for the cases.

Looks like we're going to learn all the competitors on Gross and Smack down this week.

Preview from WWE.com at SmackDown:

After this Monday night, Raw will unveil the Raw Superstars who will play both in the Ladder Bank games of Money and The Women in Money, the blue mark will complete both teams on Tuesday night.

Without any mention of qualifying matches in both shows (we already knew that Alexander Bliss was announcing them on Raw), it would seem that they are just going away with a dump of information, not announcing the names of the competitors.

It's a way to go about it, and certainly a solution they used before, but it's a bit strange. There are three weeks of programming (six programs with the main content of the list) before Money in the bank PPV. Instead of having a few weeks of qualifying matches to help fill that time, they will just read them this week.

Although Money in the Bank matches are fun, the build is normally lazy. It often includes random matches and sometimes individual confrontations between competitors to compensate for the time elapsed before the PPV. Why rush on this instead of organizing qualifying matches, games that would have issues, for a few weeks?

Only WWE knows the answer to this question. Maybe they have a plan for all competitors for the remaining weeks. Or maybe these men and women will just spin their wheels until May 19th. We will know it soon.

Tell us who are the names you hope to read for the games of the Gross and Smack down this week.
