Kontihene Stupid Kontihene

Artist Kiplihene of Hiplife said he regretted focusing solely on creating a brand for fellow musician Kwabena Kwabena.

Speaking on Hitz Daybreak on Hitz FM, the artist said he had to put his career on hold and focus on helping Kwabena Kwabena for his debut album "Aso" in hope that this success will help them create a bigger brand.

"I wanted to create an empire with powerful talent, but it turned out that it was the opposite," he told Andy Dosy, host of Hitz Daybreak.

Kontihene added that although other colleagues had helped others, he had not produced the album "Aso".

"I think it was stupid for me to put my career on hold," he said.

Kontihene said it had become depressing for him at one point. "I could have used the energy to do something else."

Kwabena Kwabena and Kontihene over the years have had some disagreements between them.

In 2017, in an interview with 3Music, Kwabena Kwabena said that Kontihene's claims that he had invested in him were lies.

"Even speaking of the project he has invested in, he collaborated with me on two songs that are" Aso "and" Trodo ", he said.

Kwabena Kwabena explained that he had himself recorded seven tracks of his nine-track album.

However, Kontihene told Andy that he had invested money in the album "Aso" but that he was disappointed with not getting any results. "I had to start [my career] start all over again after that. "

The Royal Family Entertainment signatory said he is currently writing songs for other artists, but does not intend to repeat his mistake.

"Even the Bible says I love your neighbor as yourself and so I would not advise anyone to focus on building someone's brand while putting his or her on hold," he said. added Kontihene.
