The petitioner’s lead lawyer in the ongoing election petition appears to be winning a lot of hearts on his side as social media checks point to a wave of kind words to the lawyer.
Although former law professor Tsatsu Tsikata has lost most of his arguments with the Supreme Court justices in the pending case, he is admired outside the courtroom.
For example, a former reporter for the Kanda-based television channel TV3 has voiced her administration for Mr. Tsikata and she is dying to meet him one day.
According to Bridget Otoo, it will be a dream come true if one day she manages to come face to face with the experienced lawyer known in legal circles as “Law”.
Bridget, now a communications consultant, said she wanted to see Mr Tsikata at some point in her life before she died.
On the day Mr Tsikata presented his observations to the court on the need for the President of the Election Commission (EC), Jean Mensah, to mount the chief witnesses, Bridget wrote “It is a joy to watch lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata, I hope to meet him before I leave this land. It would be a dream come true ”!
Her comments come as no surprise to many of her followers because on Twitter, the outspoken former TV presenter describes herself as Mr. Tsikata’s daughter.
She changed her name to “Bridget Tsikata, daughter of Tsatsu Tsikata” on Twitter.
