Reds president Tom Werner has revealed his pride in the progress made under the direction of the German and his desire to keep him at the club for a long time.
Liverpool President Tom Werner has hinted that the club is ready to offer a new contract to Jurgen Klopp and there is no doubt that the German is fully engaged in the club.
Klopp was widely praised for the work he has done at Anfield since replacing Brendan Rodgers in October 2015.
The German led the club to the Europa League final in 2016 and to the Champions League final last year. This season, the Reds finished second in the Premier League, despite losing one game against 97 and gaining 97 points. They also reached the final of the Champions League for the second consecutive season, where they will face Tottenham in Madrid on Saturday.

Werner, who is in Madrid to watch the game with its main owner, John W Henry, and Fenway Sports Group President Mike Gordon, have congratulated Klopp for the impact he's had since his arrival at Borussia Dortmund.
"It's a period of steady progress and it's a real pleasure to watch the continuous improvement of the team," said Werner. Liverpool Echo.
"It was a wonderful moment for the club. I remember our position among the top four teams qualifying for the Champions League for next season. Some people almost took it for granted because our real goal all year round was to win the title.
"We are extremely proud of what the entire CFL team has accomplished. When I say "we", I mean John, Mike and me.
"Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that when there is an atmosphere in which people are empowered to work as a team, great things can happen.
"Obviously, it all starts with Jurgen and his exceptional leadership. It's essential to everything we've achieved this year.
"Everyone is doing an amazing job working together and I'm very proud of what the organization has achieved, not just on the field, but off the field as well."
Klopp's current contract will expire in 2022, with the German having extended its initial six-year contract in July 2016.
Werner is reluctant to discuss contracts before Saturday's final, but hinted that the club was ready to stop Klopp in the foreseeable future.

"We do not really want to discuss his situation publicly, especially if close to the final," he added.
"But I think you know we think of the world from him. We have already extended his contract once.
"All I can say is that it's obviously important that he stays as long as he wishes." We believe that he's committed to Liverpool "
