Former President, John Mahama
In the Netherlands, the leaders of the NDC branch voted and unanimously promised their unwavering support for the candidate-flag-bearer, former President John Dramani Mahama, before the elections tomorrow.
According to them, although the other six candidates have shown a great deal of their desire to lead the umbrella family, all the leaders of NDC Holland voted unanimously to support Mr. Mahama's candidacy.
"Our observations and our scientific hypothesis have shown that the best and most negotiable candidate to prevent the government led by Nana Akufo-Addo to inflict more difficulties on Ghanaians is Mr. John Mahama," they explained.
"And for our part, Mr. Mahama remains the country's best known and most accomplished potential candidate for NDC," they said.
They also stressed that nothing prevented the former president from running in 2020.
"We would also like to categorically state that sections 66 (1) and (2) of the 1992 Constitution do not prevent Mr. Mahama from running for a second term as perverse elements who wander around. If former President John Mahama was eligible to participate in the December 7, 2016 elections, what now forbids him from not participating in elections? Articles 60 (6) and (7) of the Constitution exempt him from any legal challenge. On this note, we unequivocally support his return to power by fighting the inept government, kleptocracy, nepotism and super incompetent.

"The leaders have taken many factors into account in reaching their conclusion. First, we examined the candidate's firmness and responsiveness to political crises and observed that John Mahama was stable, gloomy, and shrewd. With regard to political experiences, Mr. John Mahama proved strong among the other candidates. He was deputy minister and minister, deputy for 12 years, vice president and president of the nation, a record unparalleled in the annals of Ghanaian politics. He has an impeccable track record in economic development, and his vision of infrastructure development is consistent with that of Mr. Kwame Nkrumah.
It will be remembered that when Mr. John Mahama was building mbadive infrastructure across the country, the NPP started telling Ghanaians that the infrastructure was not putting money in people's pockets. But today, President Nana Akufo-Addo is selling our resources to China for the same infrastructure that he has condemned. While Mr. John Mahama advocated the SHS's progressive liberalization policy and thus began to build many E-Block schools to increase the number of SHS students, Nana Akufo-Addo confused voters with her SHS free unplanned.
Today, Ghana is isolated as the only country to use a "dual track" system. Sad enough, free SHS has become a bit more expensive and a burden for parents. Before the 2016 general election, the NPP boasted a group of experts and patriots to transform the economy in two years. After promising to protect the national pulse, President Akufo-Addo did the opposite by creating 110 ministers, appointed nearly 1,000 Presidency members.
They said they stopped the Cedi and gave him the key to PGI, but today the Cedi is free and businesses are collapsing, importers are crying, people are crying, and people are crying. financial institutions collapse. The so-called gurus of the economy are now hiding in their slump. All this and more justifies Mr. John Mahama.
After closely following the mbadive crowd that John Mahama's campaign tours attract, and following the social media trend, we have come to the conclusion that the best candidate for NDC is former president John Mahama .
It is extremely clear that Nana Akufo-Addo and her cohorts devised a ploy to lie to the electorate to come to power. And we believe that most voters have regretted to have wasted their vote for President Akufo-Addo / Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia Government. Therefore, the confrontation between John Mahama and Nana Akufo-Addo would be the fascinating political history of Ghanaian history.
However, our biggest concern is the choice of the vice-presidential candidate. The selection of vice presidents can be a kind of endless mess, creating as many problems for a candidate as helping an election. The selection of vice-presidents is supposed to be an electoral badet, add balance to the ticket and, hopefully, greater voter appeal. In this perspective, we will also call on former President John Mahama to propose a vice-presidential candidate who will bring a regional balance, if he becomes the standard bearer.
Finally, we encourage our national delegates to support the proposal of former President John Mahama to unnecessarily abandon the challenges that create conflict within parties. We believe that Ghanaians want to be saved from the economic hardships, unemployment, mbadive corruption and super-incompetent governance of family and friends. We want to encourage our party elders, national leaders and diaspora leaders to come together as one family to support a candidate who will lead the NDC to a landslide victory in 2020.
God bless Ghana!
God bless NDC!
