Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic is ready to postpone a Premier League decision in favor of a Serie A change this summer.
That's what reports the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, which believes that Inter Milan is ready to act for the experienced Croatian.
Rakitic had previously said that he had no plans to leave Barcelona, but discussions about his future in Spain after signing Frenkie De Jong have changed his situation considerably.
He is about to consider a move when the young Dutchman arrives this summer.
Manchester United and Chelsea have shown interest in the Premier League, but Inter is now ready to propose a new challenge.
The Gazzetta thinks that Rakitic is currently in favor of a transfer to the Italian club, Barcelona having to demand an amount of 30 million euros for 30 years.
The Serie A team is also interested in Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric, 33, who is looking to fill Juventus's gap after his recent dominance of Italian football.
