J.J. Abrams says the story of Rey's parents is much richer

Who is Rey? A question that has made a lot of Star wars Fans sleep at night for about seven years. In Star Wars: The awakening of the force, the iconic lightsaber that belongs only to members of the Skywalker family called him and gave him visions. Many fans have taken this as a major clue to his relationship to the famous family brandishing the Force.

And came The last JediAside from my many other problems with the film, one of the biggest non-revelations came when Kylo Ren told Rey that her parents were nothing, drunkards who had traded her for 39; alcohol. Even with this event, many fans just badumed that Kylo was simply lying to him, and that might be true.

the Skywalker climb director J.J Abrams recently spoke with ABC News and gave hope to those fans who hoped that Rey would have a famous and familiar lineage. You can see what Mr. Mystery Box said below.

"I would say that we knew by entering the film that this film had to be a satisfactory conclusion. And we knew it was one of the things that already existed. I do not want to say that what is happening in Episode 8 [didn’t happen]. We honored that. But I will say that the story is richer than what you saw. "

I think J.J. will change Rey's lineage in a way that would not qualify her as a retoucher. I also think it was the idea that he had in mind from the beginning. The references to his Skywalker identity were not really subtle, in my opinion. The production format of Disney's "pbad-through" trilogy has deeply rooted the story in which Abrams had trained viewers. For my part, I will always wonder what would have looked like a trilogy after all the Abrams.
