Jack Clarke was removed on a stretcher after being cured on the bench
Leeds teenage winger, Jack Clarke, was taken to the hospital after complaining of not feeling good at the championship draw in Middlesbrough on Saturday.
The 18-year-old, who started the game and was replaced at half-time, was treated by paramedics and taken to the substitutes' bench on a stretcher.
Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa confirmed that Clarke felt "better" in the locker room but would be examined at the hospital.
A statement from the club said: "Jack Clarke started to feel bad during the second half of our championship game with Middlesbrough and received medical attention.
"The player is responsive and goes to the hospital with the drug and performance manager of the club.
"On behalf of everyone at Leeds United, we would like to thank the medical staff of both clubs for their response to the incident."
Bielsa told BBC Radio Leeds: "What we do know is that he was not feeling well, we do not really know the reasons yet.
"When he was taken to the fitting room, he was better, he was taken to the hospital to see if everything is fine."
The incident in the second half at Riverside Stadium resulted in a significant game delay and 12 minutes of additional time added.
Kalvin Phillips scored an equalizer in the 101st minute to secure a 1-1 draw that propelled Leeds to the top of the league.
