Jake Paul has a message for former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) title holder Vitor Belfort and any other mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter who wants him in the boxing ring.
Belfort called Paul after quickly sending Evander Holyfield (watch highlights) to the Triller Pay Per View (PPV) event on Saturday September 11, which will take place inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Paul called Ariel Helwani’s house MMA time Monday and Belfort sent him a follow-up message via Helwani leads him.
“Tell my son not to [sic] flee ”, sent Belfort to Helwani, according to the latter. “To meet her daddy. There is no way out. I have $ 30 million, the winner takes it all.
Paul had a scathing response for “The Phenom” and other fighters calling him out.
“Cool, take him into receivership. No problem. Let’s see the proof of the funds in escrow. The idea that these MMA fighters think I’m scared of them is funny. Or that I run away, ”Paul retorted. “Dude, I’ve fought four times in the past two years. You can’t even really fight more than that if you’re doing big fights. I go back to back back to back on these fucking ass MMA fighters. Line them up, I’ll take them all apart. You can’t box. I sent a five-time UFC champion f-king. Vitor Belfort was not even close to winning so many championships.
“You can’t box for shit!” There isn’t a time when Tyron [Woodley] sent me. Not one. The idea that [I’m] scared. Just faced one of your best fighters, Hall of Fame ever and all on him on a bad night with a hyper-stretched elbow. So f — k all of you.
Paul (4-0) comes off a split decision boxing victory over Woodley (watch highlights) in the Showtime Boxing PPV event at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio on Sunday, August 29.
