Jamie Redknapp is not convinced that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the # 1 management candidate at Manchester United because he has not yet been named to this position.
Solskjaer has done a remarkable job at Old Trafford since replacing Jose Mourinho in December, but remains a temporary boss.
Many believe that Manchester United is waiting for the end of the season to appoint the permanent director of Solskjaer in order not to disrupt his progress.
But Redknapp wonders if this is because the board still plans to make Mauricio Pochettino, director of Tottenham, their next permanent boss.
In the Daily Mail, Redknapp exposed three reasons why Argentina is so favorable from Manchester United's point of view: he develops players, he can work with his team and he no longer goes to Real Madrid, now that they ran towards Zinedine. Zidane.
He wrote: "Pochettino was the first candidate to replace José Mourinho.
"He has a remarkable track record of improving players and has made Spurs one of the top four, although his hands are tied in the last two transfer windows.
"Regardless of Tottenham's recent poor performance, he remains the best candidate and would become an even more attractive option if United's season does not end on top."
