Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta also briefly shown
ArcSys officially unveiled Janemba as a DLC fighter in Dragon Ball FighterZ. This announcement comes after the grand finale of Dragon Ball FighterZ at EVO 2019.
We already knew that this character was coming because Microsoft and Nintendo had previously mentioned that this character would be part of the game as part of the second pbad of the season.
Janemba was the antagonist of the non-canonical Dragon Ball Z movie: Fusion Reborn. Although Janemba was a very powerful opponent, Goku and Vegeta agreed to play Fusion Dance – turning them into Gogeta – to defeat him.
Not surprisingly, Janemba appears in Dragon Ball FighterZ while he is in his second form, more recognizable. Notably, however, the first form of Janemba appears in the trailer.
Janemba's attacks in Dragon Ball FighterZ are very strange. Similar to the movie, he is able to open portals, pbad his hand through them and attack his opponents from clumsy angles.
He also seems to have access to a sword and can turn his arm into various objects. It also seems that Janemba has access to a projectile counter movement.
This new fighter will be available August 8, 2019. At the very end of the trailer, we had a brief overview of Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta.
The merger of Goku and Vegeta will not be available the same day as Janemba. Instead, the character would simply be "coming".
