Turkish midfielder Jem Karacan is signing with the Central Coast Mariners (A-League), according to Australian media.
The 29-year-old was released from his contract at Millwall on Tuesday and, according to Australian editor Ray Gatt, joined the Gosford-based club.
Karacan spent most of his career in the league with the Lions, Reading and Bolton.
He was part of the cursed Premier League campaign of Reading in 2012-13, which allowed the team to finish 19th and be relegated.
The Turkish International Youth will occupy the alternative place among the Mariners released by Ross McCormack – who settled in Motherwell at the beginning of the transfer window.
