TOKYO, July 8 (Reuters) - Japan's main machinery orders have fallen 7.8% in May compared with the previous month, down for the first time in four months and registering the largest decline since last September, Government data showed Monday. The fall of basic orders, a very volatile data series as an indicator of capital expenditures over the six years nine months, compared with the median estimate of economists from one Down 4.7% in a Reuters poll, the data showed.
