One of Japan's leading businessmen said his US $ 90 billion venture capital fund was not investing in a single Japanese company because of Japan's weakness in the field of artificial intelligence .
This is Son Jeong-ui, also known as Masayoshi Son, of Korean origin, who runs the SoftBank conglomerate.
According to the Japanese broadcaster NHK, Son said at a conference in Tokyo that Japan, Japan is underdeveloped.

The SoftBank Vision Fund, he said, has invested in 75 unicorn companies around the world, but not one in its own field.
