Jarrell Miller breaks the silence after the failure of a drug test in front of Anthony Joshua's fight

Jarrell Miller denied deliberately cheating after failing a drug test before his fight against Anthony Joshua.

Miller was tested positive for a banned substance and was denied a license in New York.

Joshua will now have to find a new opponent for his fight at Madison Square Garden on June 1st.

But Miller insists that he's innocent.

"I want to thank all my fans who have been supporting me since the first day and especially during this extremely difficult time.

"I have not been listening to social media and other media to focus and use all my energy to work hard without distraction.

"I am absolutely devastated when I hear that my boxing license has been revoked in the state of New York and that I will vigorously appeal this decision.I have NEVER knowingly taken any prohibited substance and when I am I discovered the news last night, I was totally shocked.

"My team and I stand for integrity, decency and honesty, together we will fight this with all we have!

"It was a voluntary test that I was very happy to do and these results came just a week after another voluntary test that I had taken and which was completely clean.I refuse to know in my heart that I do not know what to do. I did nothing wrong.

"15 years of hard work.I am WARRIOR … I do not need a prohibited substance.

"Do not forget not to believe everything you hear and hear, the facts will prevail and I will defend, I have nothing to hide, and the truth will become known."
