On March 15, Jeff Garzik, a well-known Bitcoin developer, revealed that he had been summoned to appear in the US District Court of South Florida as part of the infamous Kleiman lawsuit against Wright bitcoin. The Kleiman family sues the self-proclaimed Satoshi for approximately 300,000 BTCs. Garzik was served in court and asked to submit various documents and possible evidence that could be useful in the case.

The Kleiman Estate wants Jeff Garzik to reveal everything he knows about Satoshi, David Kleiman and Craig Wright
Kleiman's estate and David Kleiman's brother, Ira Kleiman, believe that Craig Wright defrauded David and manipulated his badets. Some people think that David Kleiman (deceased) may be the creator of Bitcoin and the estate thinks he owes him about 300,000 BTC ($ 1.1 billion) from a trust that would have 1 million BTC blocked until 2020. News.Bitcoin.com recently reported on Wright's response to the pursuit of billions of dollars after Judge Beth Bloom denied his attempt to dismiss the charges. Now, Jeff Garzik, the first user and adopter of Bitcoin, is involved in the lawsuit because he ad he was summoned to appear in court. The summons emanates from Kleiman's counsel and asks Garzik to submit any evidence of David Kleiman's claim that he was Satoshi Nakamoto.
"You have been served," exclaimed Garzik on Twitter. "The Bitcoin trial continues. In the interest of radical transparency, here is the subpoena that has arrived (without page 1). "
The subpoena also asks for any communication between Garzik and Wright and he had direct communications with Kleiman. The plaintiff's attorney is seeking documents from David Kleiman, W & K Info Defense (Kleiman and Wright), as well as any communication with a person named Uyen Nguyen. The motion also requests any communication between Garzik and the nickname or nickname Satoshi Nakamoto, as well as any evidence related to the "Tulip Trust" or "GISCR Trust". The subpoena also refers to the search for topics such as bitcoin mining between Jan. 1, 2009 to April 2013. Other topics include all documents related to Mount. Gox, Silk Road, Liberty Reserve and the Prometheus Project. The papers cover communications between famous personalities such as cryptographer Ian Grigg, writer Andrew O'Hagan and billionaire gaming magnate Calvin Ayre.
Garzik's personal theory
Wright and his counsel denied the charges against him and said that the oral partnership between Wright and Kleiman was prohibited by the fraud statute. "There was no written partnership agreement between Dr. Wright and David Kleiman and / or W & K Info Defense Research, LLC," Wright's lawyer explained in the 36-page response to the charges. Meanwhile, Wright has told the public, through numerous tweets and memoirs published, his involvement in the creation of Bitcoin.
In the 14-page request to Garzik, it seems that Kleiman's estate and the city council want to know everything the developer has seen over the years. The application also mentions a Bloomberg article that talks about Garzik's "personal theory" about David Kleiman. In the article, Garzik states, "My personal theory is that [Satoshi Nakamoto] is the Floridian Dave Kleiman. This corresponds to his coding style, this gentleman was a self-taught. And the Bitcoin coder was somehow very, very smart, but not a clbadical training software engineer. This specific quote has led Kleiman's domain to believe that Garzik could find out more about the relationship between Wright and Kleiman or have clues about possible connections to the infamous Nakamoto.
