Robert Kulzer of Constantin Film, Jeremy Bolt of JB Pictures and Adrian Askarieh of Prime Universe Films produce the adaptation of 100% female adventure.
Jeff Wadlow, the genre filmmaker who directed the latest horror hit Truth or Dare, signed to lead Danger girl, the adaptation of the comic to success of the 1990s by Constantin Films.
The project is directed by Robert Kulzer of Constantin Film, Jeremy Bolt of JB Pictures and Adrian Askarieh of Prime Universe Films.
Danger girl follows the adventures of Abbey Chase, an adventurer who was reluctantly recruited into a secret organization. Chase is then badociated with agents Sydney Savage and Natalia Kbadle in an adventure around the world to locate a series of mystical items and keep them out of reach of the wrong Hammer union.
The cartoon was a mix of Indiana Jones, James Bond and the angels of Charlie and an instant hit when he debuted in 1998 from Jim Lee's Wildstorm imprint.
Umair Aleem wrote the first versions of the script and Wadlow will do the rewrites. Martin Moszkowicz of Constantine will be the executive producer with Scott Campbell and Andy Hartnell.
Wadlow is best known for his work as a bar Kick Ass 2, adapting the Mark Millar cartoon, and Truth or Dare, the horror movie Blumhouse that has grossed nearly $ 100 million worldwide with a budget of just $ 3.5 million. He is currently stationed on Fantasy Island, Blumhouse's modern vision of the 1970s television series. The latter should open in February 2020.
Wadlow is replaced by UTA, Artists First and Hirsch Wallerstein.
