With a mbadive cliffhanger at the end of last week's episode, "Just and Unjust" is about to become a big episode that helps address some of the outstanding issues that have been in place in the past.

As usual, this recap will include revelations from tonight's episode Black Lightning. If you still have to watch "Just and Injust", proceed with caution.

The episode begins with Jennifer taking Khalil's death. Her sister Anissa and her mother Lynn talk about what to do with Jennifer as they drive to the market. They are almost kidnapped by mysterious gunmen when Agent Odell and ASA agents arrive from nowhere to protect the gunmen.

The remaining gunmen and ASA officers fade away quickly, leaving Lynn and Anissa looking for what just happened. Later in the episode, Perenna is almost kidnapped by the same people, but she uses her powers to drive away the attackers. Throughout his research, Gambi discovers that armed men belong to the Markov intelligence services. Gambi gives Jefferson their location and he pulls them out by offering them to Inspector Henderson for arrest.

Henderson can do nothing – the Markovians enjoy diplomatic immunity.

In a conversation between Jennifer and Khalil's mother, we discover that they can not afford to bury Khalil properly. Jennifer goes home to tell Anissa. The next day, Jennifer returns to school and is furious to find janitors who shoot down the shrine built for the students of Khalil. Later, we learn that Jennifer has recovered the items in the trash and built a new memorial, much to the dismay of Senior Lowry. After Jennifer and he quarreled – what students are recording on their phones – Jennifer's main orders from school.

It was revealed that the principal, Lowry, had suspended Jennifer. Jefferson and he fought against systematic racism.

Anissa, who works at the clinic, examines a young woman who appears to have been a victim of domestic violence. The victim does not want to reveal who did this to him. Elsewhere, Anissa discovers that it's the girlfriend of one of the top 100 gang officers. That night, Anissa burst into the gang member's home and l 39; attack, as well as his team, for beating women.

Anissa takes money from the gang and gives it to church and funeral parlor for Khalil's funeral. We find out later that Monique (the victim) has left the home of the abuser. The Pierce family meets at Khalil's funeral. We see Odell watching the family from afar.

The other little things in the episode include:

  • The agent Odell ends up getting Dr. Jace out of jail because he says they have to move the caps off their facilities because the gunmen know where they are.
  • We discover that Tobias and Dr. Jace control some of the ASA modules and apparently create a metahuman army.

And just like that, it's all for tonight's episode Black Lightning. What do you think about "just and unfair?" Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
