Jimmy Cobblah, Black Satellites Head Coach
Coach of Ghana's Black Satellites, Jimmy Cobblah, says he is upset by his team's 2-0 defeat against Niger in a friendly match in Niamey on Wednesday.
Cobblah said it was a good exercise although he worried that his team would not win after creating many opportunities.
"It's a good training for us, it's a game that we should have won, we scored a good goal, but the linesman refused it by the referee and said it was a goal. They had two dubious penalties and all scored, "said Cobblah to the press.
"I have already experienced this before. Sometimes you lose your training matches but go to the actual tournament and win all your matches. What happened today is surprising because we played well and I thought we were going to win. "
"I think we should win to give hope to our people before the tournament. We will continue to make corrections so that cohesion comes ",
The Satellites will play two more friendlies before the start of the U-20 CAN on February 2nd.
