Jinja residents live in fear after a sewage spill from the UPDF command post

Residents of Kaitabawala village in Mafubira sub-county, Jinja district, are terrorized by reports of a cholera outbreak in their area, due to an overflow of 39 wastewater from the UPDF High Command Post at Kimaka.

The inhabitants accuse the army of not taking care of a lagoon within the command post, which, according to them, has not polluted their area with wastewater, especially whenever it rains:
