The first Joker the trailer is here. And even though Joker has already appeared four times on the big screen, this is unlike any DC Comics movie.
Unlike Cesar Romero, Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger and Jared Leto, Joaquin PhoenixThe Joker does not have to share his movie with a Batman. It's rather his story – which looks like a cross between two different films by Robert De Niro, Taxi driver and The king of comedy. (De Niro himself is in the film, he appears briefly in the trailer as a talk show host that basically looks like Tonight's show 1980s)
There is no acid tank or brawl at Axis Chemicals, although is a cameo from Arkham asylum. Instead, it's just the Arthur of Phoenix, apparently driven crazy by the horrors of everyday life. At least in the caravan, it looks like he's dying his hair, puts on a suit and becomes a kind of cult figure in Gotham City.

Joker opens in theaters on October 4th. I was skeptical about this concept, but I must admit I can not wait to see this movie.
