After months of deliberations, former Vice President Joe Biden announced Thursday his decision to run for the third time in the presidency, responding to one of the biggest outstanding issues on the composition of the 2020 race.
The announcement was made in a video of the campaign aired Thursday morning.

Later on Thursday, Biden will participate in a fundraiser in Philadelphia before appearing on "The View" on ABC for his first television interview since the announcement on Friday.
