Joe Swash happily breaks the silence after confirming the pregnancy of Stacey Solomon

Joe Swash breaks his silence for the first time since he confirmed that his girlfriend, Stacey Solomon, was pregnant with their first child.

Appearing at Good Morning Britain just minutes after posting their pregnancy announcement, Joe beamed his ears.

Joining the One Fool and the Horses: The musical actors – including Tom Bennett and Paul Whitehouse – Joe could not help but smile as GMB animators Ranvir Singh and Adil Ray congratulated him on the good news .

"Congratulations to Joe Swash this morning – he's expecting a baby with Stacey!" they said to the camera.

"We are really happy, really excited, we just feel blessed."

The hosts joked that his early morning starts for GMB were the perfect training for all the nights of broken sleep he was waiting for.

When asked about Stacey's feelings and whether she suffered from morning sickness, Joe said, "She's very good, she's excited."

And when asked about Stacey's due date, Joe tried to keep it to himself.

Joe, 37, had announced the good news by sharing photos of his 29-year-old girlfriend sleeping at home surrounded by their pets.
