For England, it would be "not just morally" to choose Jofra Archer, the unknown, in the World Cup team, said fellow countryman Chris Woakes.
The 24-year-old Archer of Susbad has only played 14 one-day games in his career, but he was impressed by the Twenty20 cricket.
England, number one worldwide, announced Wednesday its provisional staff of 15 people.
"If he had to come in and someone would miss that, it would be extremely unfortunate," Woakes told BBC Sport.
"We are a very united group in the last two or three years, have played very strong cricket and won many series.
"Outside of my personal level, I would not want one of my clbadmates and teammates to miss out on it.
"But it is the nature of international cricket that there is always someone knocking on the door.
"I do not think it would upset the team because everyone would find a way to move forward and we are trying to win a World Cup for England – that's the whole situation."
Born in Barbados, the Archer quick thrower, whose father is English, has a British pbadport. He had qualified earlier this year after the Cricket Council of England and Wales had changed his residency rules.
Recognized as one of the most valuable players in the world as a limited group due to his bowling at 90 mph, his athletic roster and his aggressive stick, he currently plays for the Rajasthan Royals in the # 39; Indian Premier League (IPL).
The English coach, Trevor Bayliss, said that Archer would participate in international one – day international matches against Ireland and Pakistan in May, with England also appointing a team of 17 players for these matches, Wednesday.

But versatile player Ben Stokes, who plays alongside Archer for the Royals, said he was the most "gifted" pitcher he's seen.
Change for the better if you can – Hussain
Former English captain Nbader Hussain, who played 88 ODI between 1989 and 2003, said the selectors should choose Archer for the World Cup.
He told BBC Sport: "He has to play against Pakistan because he's a unique talent and you want to see what he looks like.You do not want his first game to be a semifinal of the Cup of the World against Virat Kohli.
"Whatever their choice, someone's going to be very disappointed.Someone is going to have built his last three years to compete in a home World Cup and could be left out for Archer."
Hussain added that "if you can change for the better, you should do it" and the prospect of choosing Archer does not remind him of the "panicked" changes that previous teams from England have made shortly before the tournaments .
"I do not worry about the upheavals because the guys who played alongside him in franchise cricket have seen his talent and are not stupid.When they see a special talent, they support him", a- he declared.
"In any case, it's win-win.If they do not choose it, it's still a very good side."
