John Cena takes stock of the future of WWE before WrestleMania

WWE fans had a clue to John Cena's return to the ring after his release from the Royal Rumble.

The 16-time world champion has been one of the favorites in the fight for the elimination of the top 30 players last weekend.

But the US sports entertainment giant said he was injured in his left ankle, making him unable to compete.

It was announced that Rumble's double winner still suffered damage suffered during a match at Raw on January 14th.

In reality, it was a way of writing it out of the pay-per-view system, since the original plan was to attack it by NXT star, Lars Sullivan.

On Rumble Day, it was revealed that Cena would be replaced by Braun Strowman, who finished second to Seth Rollins.

His short return to the ring ended because of commitments to the film, as he was scheduled to begin shooting in Vancouver on January 20.

And the filming time of his latest film should dramatically affect his WWE appearances on the Road to WrestleMania.

Surrey Now-Leader reported that the 41-year-old wrestling legend was seen eating at a Joe Fortes restaurant in Vancouver.

His latest film, Playing with Fire, is described as "a comedy about a group of firefighters who meet when they have to save a trio of boisterous kids."

The article also gave a timeline of Cena's filming time, which could have an impact on the fact that it was part of WrestleMania 35 on April 7th.

"According to reports, the production will be based in Burnaby, and filming will take place from February to the end of March."

This would not give Cena much time to take part in building a scenario for the most important match of the WWE calendar in New Jersey.

This would certainly seem to confirm that there is no chance of being part of pay-per-view television on February 17 in Houston, Texas.

However, we now know whether the future Hall of Fame will be competing on the Fastlane PPV scheduled for March 10 in Cleveland, Ohio.

The plan was to have John Cena face Lars Sullivan at WrestleMania, but because of Sullivan's anxiety issues, it may not be the case.
