Coach John Kavanagh supported Maura Higgins to win Love Island.

The MMA coach, who coaches Conor McGregor, said, "She's very fun, good idiot, she has a great spirit and that typically Irish charm.

"Usually, my girlfriend, Orlagh, will watch us and I will not watch Twitter. When she connects, I'll connect, especially when she says something outrageous or funny.

"Of course, I would like to see her win."

John added that he would love to train another Irish fighter, Greg O'Shea, to rugby one day.

He told the Irish Mirror: "Yes, I would love to have him or anyone else in my gym."

At the same time, it was the return of the "fanny flutter" for Maura Friday night despite a week of badual frustration in the villa.

As part of a challenge, Greg O'Shea, Curtis Pritchard, Ovie Soko and Tommy Fury went undercover to complete secret missions involving girls.

Originally from Limerick, Greg was tasked with trying to get Maura to announce his famous "Fanny Flottters" slogan three times.

And while he asked his partner, Curtis Pritchard, to offer him an bad rather than a coffee the day before, Greg had trouble rekindling the bad phrase.

Admitting the mission, the 24-year-old Irish rugby player was upset. He said, "It was not easy at all. I had to stay calm!

Meanwhile, Maura's love interest, Curtis, was to change their outfits by Molly-Mae Hague and India Reynolds so he could judge whether they were "good or bad."

Bringing the girls to the dressing room floor, the 23-year-old professional dancer said, "I want you to put them on [clothes] and I will tell you if they are good or not. "

Molly-Mae remained skeptical and insisted: "I've already worn everything!"

However, determined to take up the challenge, Curtis said, "I do not remember what you wore and I do not care what you wore!"

Elsewhere, Tommy's mission was to subtly receive a mbadage from all the girls in the villa, with the exception of his girlfriend Molly-Mae.

Meanwhile, Ovie had the difficult task of hiding the beloved teddy bear from her beloved friend Ellie-Belly of Molly-Mae and "accidentally" pouring milk on one of the girls in the villa.

However, all the chaos erupted when the Islanders began a search mission for the elephant teddy after Ovie hid it in a garden tree.

The final mission gathered all the boys to bring the girls to the pool of the villa.

After a week of dreamy final dates, the Love Island couples were brought back to earth with the news of a nasty dump after their romantic rendezvous.

It has been revalidated, a pair will be removed from the show just days before the grand final live in the cruelest denouement ever achieved.

It all started when Molly Mae Hague and Tommy Fury returned to the villa to give their fellow citizens the opportunity to attend their dinner and dance.

But incoming text quickly spoiled the mood.

Belle received a message on her phone that revealed how the next couple would be given.

He explained that each couple must vote in secret for a couple who, in their opinion, should be thrown off the island.

The gang then separated to decide who they thought should leave and why before submitting the decision by text.

Couples with the highest number of votes are likely to be dropped from the island in shock on Sunday night.
