John Leslie is accused of having badaulted Westminster in December 2008.
Former Blue Peter presenter, John Leslie, has been accused of badually badaulting a woman.
The 54-year-old is accused of aggression in Westminster in December 2008 when the victim was 30 years old.
Scotland Yard said that Mr Leslie, from Edinburgh, had been accused of badually touching a woman on June 5th.
He is scheduled to appear in Westminster District Court on July 25.
Mr. Leslie began his television career in 1989 as a presenter of BBC's Blue Peter.
He appeared on the children's television show for five years with animators such as Caron Keating, Tim Vincent, Anthea Turner and Diane-Louise Jordan.
He then introduced This Morning, from ITV, and regularly hosted the TV game Wheel of Fortune.
