Former Ghanaian Prez John Mahama said he was not going to withdraw his “do or die” comment to attract criticism.

He explains that the comment he made is an idiomatic phrase that is advice to NDC members to remain stable in the 2024 polls.

John Mahama made his comment on a “Thank You” tour for the Bono Ahafo area.

“From NPP rig to 2020 elections. We accept the Supreme Court ruling for the sake of peace.”

“But in 2024, the NDC is going to be very vigilant … So for the polling stations, do or die.

But a lot of people don’t get off the commentary anymore.

Think Thank IMANI Africa President Franklin Cudjoe said John Mahama’s “Do Or Die” commentary was no different from what President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo said a few years ago.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) referred the 2020 election results to the Supreme Court of Ghana.

But the Supreme Court confirms the decision in favor of President Akufo-Addo who is declared the winner by the electoral commission.
